HyperKhaos is an innovative project aimed at developing a cutting-edge, low-latency audio visualizer for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems. Drawing inspiration from Chaos Theory, which posits that there are underlying patterns and interconnectedness within seemingly random systems, HyperKhaos seeks to create immersive 3D interactive experiences.
Leveraging the power of GPU technology, the HyperKhaos Alpha engine employs complex dynamic Chaotic Systems to generate real-time visuals that respond to audio input. Through the use of Chaotic Attractors, Signed Distance Functions, and Force Fields, HyperKhaos generates a visually stunning representation of the audio spectrum in an infinite 3D space.
The engine can simulate up to 4,194,304 particle units, with each unit corresponding to specific audio frequencies. HyperKhaos is also compatible with MIDI, can communicate via OSC protocol, and can be navigated using an XBOX controller.
In essence, HyperKhaos aims to showcase the intricate relationship between present actions and future outcomes, where the exact present may not always accurately predict the future.
